This Friday, October 3rd, Omaha metalcore marauders, The Matador, will release their new EP, titled “Death Country.” The release party will be held at the Waiting Room in Omaha. Also on the bill is Conflicts, hailing from Kansas City, and two other Omaha bands, Towering Rogue and Devil in the Details.
Check out the “Viva Lost Wages” video…
“Death Country” will be the band’s third EP release, preceded by 2011’s “Once upon a Sinking Ship” and 2009’s “Bad Day for a Snake.”
It looks like The Matador has been quite busy preparing for the release of their new disc, with an awesome-looking video for “Viva Lost Wages,” directed by Randy Edwards. Just this past weekend, the band was featured on 89.7 The River, doing an interview about the upcoming release and playing three tracks from “Death Country.” The band has a week-long tour scheduled after the CD release party, taking them through Kansas, Texas, Arizona, Utah and Colorado.
So after a long, suck-ass week at work, get to Benson and blow off some steam! In other words…
Get out and pay some cover charges f*ckers!
