Hailing from Kearney, NE, Slantpiece released their new album “Get You Some”. The album is loaded with some great heavy metal tunes. Full of rocking riffs and killer drum beats, this album is for sure going to make a new home in your CD player. All the tracks are great. Right out of the gate “War Cry” will send you into a frenzy and give you a reason to stand your ground. “Demon Mind” is a heavy slower track, it has a Black Label Society feel to it. Sure to please the old school heavy metal fan. If you’re looking for a great party tune, look no further than “Muddy Water”, it has that same magic feel of a classic Mötley Crüe tune, a.k.a, INSTANT PARTY! “World of Choas” is an excellent heavy-ass track. The tempo is great and the vocals have a Lamb Of God feel to them. Lets not forget the drums, they’re epic. “Back Against The Wall” is very old school influenced. The song has a Pantera feel to it. “Act Of Betrayal” is a rocking HEAVY slower jam. I’ll let you be the judge of this track, as it’s streaming on Crank It Up Radio.

So there you have it. Slantpiece is the total package. With straight-up heavy metal and no b.s. If you’re a fan of Metallica, Down, Pantera, Black Label Society, Lamb Of God, Slayer, etc. Check them out and go to a show.
