When the ball drops in New York City’s Times Square, the people of Kearney will be rocking out to some good old-fashioned heavy metal jams. So mark your calendars and make plans to be at Gillies Bar in Kearney, NE, this New Year’s Eve and bring in the new year right with Slantpiece and special guests Deadend. Slantpiece always bring the party and the riff, so make sure yo’ ass is there!

While I’m at it, let’s talk about a little amazing bar called Gillies. In my option, Gillies is the best live music venue pretty much between Denver and Lincoln. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Kearney, NE, is damn lucky to have such a killer venue! The bar has awesome regulars, huge P.A. system, great beer specials, and an outdoor section as well. The place will be packed on New Year’s Eve for sure and there will be riffs, I’ve even taken the liberty of posting the Facebook event link below.
