I was recently checking my Bandcamp account and just happened to come across a band from Germany called Leper Colony. Their self-titled album is a death metal masterpiece, every track is a death metal jam fest.
Overall their sound reminds me of Obituary with a mix of Death and a touch of Slayer. The album starts with a track that hits the ground running at 100 m.p.h. that’s titled “The Human Paradox”. You know right from the start, these guys are out to melt your faces.
This band is a breath of fresh air and I can’t wait to hear more from them. I’ll post their Bandcamp playlist before, be sure to crank it up and party on.
